Charlotte Mellington (born March 2011, England) is a British actress who made her stage debut as Lavender in Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre (2023–2024, directed by Matthew Warchus). Encouraged by her acting coach, she auditioned for Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights (2026) and landed the role of Young Cathy (Catherine Earnshaw) after submitting self-tapes and headshots. The film, released on 13 February 2026, stars Margot Robbie as adult Cathy, Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, Owen Cooper as young Heathcliff, and Alison Oliver as Isabella Linton. At 14, she made her red carpet debut at the London premiere on 5 February 2026, where she was surprised by friends from school. She is represented by ARG Talent and has since been featured in Dazed, Teen Vogue, and Wonderland magazines. Her filmography currently consists of a single screen credit: Wuthering Heights (2026, as Young Cathy / Young Catherine Earnshaw). Her sole theatre credit is Matilda the Musical (2023–2024, as Lavender). She is currently completing her Drama GCSE, and per a Teen Vogue interview, her immediate focus is on her exams rather than new roles.
